Technology consultancy
Hi, I’m a
technology consultant.
I help businesses get unstuck, modernize how they work, and prepare for what comes next.
I start by understanding how your business really works and how your people, processes, systems and data fit together. Then I identify what is slowing you down, increasing risk or getting in the way of change, and help you find the right direction.
From independent audits and system design to automation, AI and implementation support.
Consultation
First,
we talk.
We look at your business, goals, current way of working, and constraints, including budget, existing contracts, and the people involved.
We define the real problem before deciding what, if anything, needs to change.
Current-state audit
Technology problems
rarely exist
in isolation.
A slow process may actually be a data problem. A software problem may come from the workflow around it. An automation may simply make a broken process fail faster.
An independent audit maps current processes, systems, data, infrastructure, risks and dependencies, using evidence to explain what works, what doesn’t, and why.
toumé looks at the connections before recommending what should change.
Design & redesign
Let’s design
a better version.
I turn the findings into a practical design: architecture, workflows, diagrams, and recommendations. We can improve what exists or plan something new.
I use AI as part of the analysis where it helps uncover patterns, dependencies and complexity that would otherwise take much longer to examine. The conclusions and recommendations remain grounded in the business context and evidence.
Human judgment, context and responsibility remain central. Deterministic systems remain deterministic where reliability matters more than flexibility.
The toumé Method
Understand. Audit.
Design. Implement.
Review.
I don’t start with technology. I start with how your business works.
Understand before changing. Evidence before assumptions. Design before implementation. Review before moving on.
- 01 /
Understand
Goals, context, people, constraints and what success actually means.
- 02 /
Audit
Evidence-based assessment of current processes, systems, data, infrastructure, risks and dependencies.
- 03 /
Design
A target state and implementation path designed around the real business, including architecture, integrations, automation, AI, reliability and operational constraints.
- 04 /
Implement
Build, integrate and coordinate the change directly or with the right specialists.
- 05 /
Review
Validate the result against the original goals and update the understanding of the system.

Implementation support — if needed
Need help
putting it into practice?
I can build and integrate the solution, support your team, coordinate delivery or bring in the right specialists. We agree on the implementation scope separately; advice and design can also stand on their own.
A prototype proves that something can work. Production proves that it can be relied on. Implementation considers not only how the solution works, but how it fails, recovers, scales and fits into the systems around it.
Security, failure handling, monitoring, ownership, recovery, costs and dependencies are part of the design. We review the result against the original goals.
What I actually do
Clarity first.
Then the right next step.
Reach out to me when something is not working, when you are considering a change, or when you need an independent view before making a technology decision.
A consultation, audit, redesign or implementation plan can each be useful pieces of work on their own.
REMOTE-FIRST · ON-SITE WHEN IT MATTERS
Discovery, evidence collection, audit, review, system design and implementation planning can all be carried out fully remotely.
On-site work is available when physical infrastructure, facilities or direct operational observation make it useful.

By the way,
I’m Chris.
I’m a hands-on technology consultant with experience across infrastructure, hardware, software, automation, AI, and complex production systems.
Much of that experience was built in demanding advertising and VFX environments.
My role is to understand how your business works, find what gets in the way, and design a sensible way forward.
More about my experience
VFX, advertising, computer graphics, and production technology are where I developed much of my experience, connecting people, tools, infrastructure, and processes.
Every business works differently, but the shape of the problem is often familiar: a goal, a current way of working, and something standing between the two. My role is to find the simplest practical way to close that gap.
Building workflows from the ground up.
Designing complete production and operational systems, connecting tools, people, data, and infrastructure into a workflow that works.
Less busywork. Smarter workflows.
Building automations and AI-assisted processes that reduce repetitive work while keeping people in control.
Finding what holds things back.
Debugging complex systems, identifying bottlenecks, and finding where time, money, or effort is being lost.
Connecting the dots. Finding the simpler route.
Spotting useful connections between tools, teams, and processes and removing unnecessary steps.
Turning complexity into a clear plan.
Translating technical or operational problems into diagrams, decisions, and practical next steps that are easy to understand.
The industry changes. The method doesn’t.
A VFX studio, a pharmacy, a finance team, a retailer, or a service business may use very different tools. Different industries have different constraints, but many operational problems share the same structure.
- What are we trying to achieve?
- What is getting in the way?
- Which constraints do we need to respect?
- What can be simplified, automated, or connected?
- What is the shortest reliable path to the result?
I learn the specifics of your field and bring in a specialist when needed. Finding that practical path is the kind of problem I like solving.
